Sue Bowe McKee
Sue Bowe McKee is a Personal Readiness Guide for aware women who want to be ready for anything in these unpredictable times. Using her expertise in building personal and community resilience, Sue works with aware realists to uncover the blind spots that are holding them back so they can build a rock solid foundation and navigate change with ease. Sue combines her corporate experience and unique coaching and training designations to assist women in getting out of overwhelm and creating mental, emotional and physical resilience.
Sue is the Founder of Leadership Unleashed. Sue is a Board Certified Trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Hypnotherapy, Time Line Therapy® and NLP Coaching. She is also a Master NLP Coach, Master Hypnotherapist, and a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach. Sue is an experienced trainer and facilitator in the Cultural Transformation Tools®, the Team Diagnostic® Program, and the Transition Town Movement model. Sue holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Guelph and an MBA from York University.
Sue spent 14 years in cross-functional roles within Unilever Canada, and this experience in marketing, sales, internal audit and innovation, along with her decade of coaching leaders to be their best, and her own personal resilience journey provide her with a unique experience base from which to train and lead awake and aware realists toward a more sustainable and resilient future.
Family camping has been a cornerstone of every summer of Sue’s life and she is fueled by being in nature. Whether it’s her weekly trail run or a hike in the woods, Sue needs her regular dose of nature. She has been honing her wilderness and survivalist skills in the wild while building her gardening and homesteading skills at home, as she empowers herself and her family to thrive in any situation.
Sue believes in the ancient wisdom ways and practices a celebration of, and connection with, nature, animals and spirit that draws from native wisdom, pagan traditions and shamanic teachings. She is a trained drum circle facilitator and drums with the Georgina Drum Circle.
Sue is currently supporting the local food movement as the Chair of the East Gwillimbury Farmers’ Market. She was the Founder of the York Region Transition Town initiative and is an active member with the Green Connections Network.
